Naftogaz says court seizes 100% in South Stream Transport

KIEV, Oct 25 (PRIME) -- The Amsterdam District Court has seized 100% shares in South Stream Transport B.V., which is building the sea section of the TurkStream pipeline, Naftogaz Ukrainy Executive Director Yury Vitrenko said on his Facebook page on Friday.

“Why is nobody writing that on October 23, 2019, the Amsterdam District Court seized 100% in South Stream Transport B.V., which is by the way in charge of construction and management of the TurkStream,” Vitrenko said.

He said the shares were seized “in connection with the consideration of the case over (Russian gas giant) Gazprom’s fraudulent actions during the transfer of these shares to Transgaz Krasnodar one day before the bailiffs began to freeze Gazprom’s assets.”
